Wheel Alignment

Your wheel alignment is one of the key maintenance factors to ensure that you get the most economy and performance out of your tyres. Wheel Balancing

A tyre is out of balance when one section of the tyre is heavier than the others. A wheel balance redistributes weight around the tyre to extend life of your tyres, increase performance and increase your vehicle's safety. To balance a wheel, Bomspec BMW will mount it on a balancing machine that spins the tyre and wheel to locate the heavier part, which will then be compensated for by attaching a weight on the opposite side.

So simply, Bromspec BMW quality wheel balancing ensures that your tyres and wheels do not have a heavy spot that may cause vibration and premature tyre wear. Unbalanced tyres may also cause accelerated wear of your shock absorbers, struts and other steering and suspension components.

Fuel Injection Servicing

Restore lost Power and Performance with a Fuel Injector Service. This service cleans the fuel injection system and removes carbon deposits from the upper cylinder area of the engine, ensuring your vehicle performs the way it was meant to, with faster acceleration, smoother idling and greater overall power. This service is recommended every 20,000kms or 12 months.

Computer Fault Code Reading

On board computers can tell you a lot about what is wrong with your car. At BromspecBMW we can connect to your on board computer and tell you what may be needing to be serviced. Often there are little things that may be needing attention which you would not otherwise realise.

Brake Machining

If you find that your vehicle has a steering wheel shudder or a ‘pulsating’ brake pedal when slowing down from around 80-90km/hr, more than likely your brake discs or rotors will be warped or not running true. Clutches

The car clutch is something that you use extensively while driving. So you need to make sure that it is in good working condition. Although the clutch normally lasts for an average of 5 years, the actual lifetime of your car’s clutch really depends on the way you drive and the journeys you make. Using your clutch to move the car from a stationary position wears it out more. Therefore driving in the city where you will have to stop like a hundred times because of traffic will wear out the clutch more than driving on motorways.

Automatic Transmission

The automatic transmission is one of the most complicated and thus one of the less reliable parts of the vehicle. The repair of an automatic transmission is complex and tends to be quite expensive. More than that, automatic transmission problem can make your car unsafe - some transmission defects may cause, for example, that the car can roll with the shifter in Park or drive forward with shifter in Neutral.
